Just before traveling out of town my car started to have electrical issues. I turned around and drove it to Dearholt at 5pm. I came to Dearholt Auto with a challenge – a 1967 Pontiac GTO that looked amazing but needed some specialized care. After Jim took the time to personally come to my house to diagnose some issues, I brought it to the shop. Kelly and his team looked over my GTO from end to end and top to bottom to diagnose any major issues. We decided on a path forward to get my baby in the best shape possible, and I couldn’t be happier with Jim’s team at Dearholt Auto Care. Close friends of ours recommended Dearholt Auto Care. We took our 2004 Sienna van for a diagnostic for some shaking while on the freeway. I inquired about other repairs as well. We also took my 2007 Corolla for electrical and idle diagnostics. During both visits I received excellent customer service. The mechanics worked hard on our vehicles and even re-inspected our van a second time without additional cost. They were thorough in addressing issues that required repair and gave sound advice about what did not need repair at that time as well as offering advice on correcting other items that would help our vehicles further. We hope to use them again when the time arises. Thank you Kelly, front desk personnel and mechanics at Deerholt for all your help. You guys made our vehicle's repairs experience pleasant.

Dearholt AutoCare is fantastic, it's my 1st choice for any issue I can't solve myself that comes up with my car. He's checked cars I considered buying, which saved me from buying a car that needed a lot of upcoming repairs. And since I didn't buy those, I was still looking when one of my dream cars came up with a great deal. He even checked that one to make sure they didn't skip anything on the rebuild. And the best part is that he never charged me a cent for any of those services, since it was just a checkup with no repairs. He even just advised me that the front brakes were low, instead of trying to convince me to have them do it, since he knew I'm at least that capable.I've know Jim Dearholt for a few years, and heard great reviews from a variety of people in that time. I can't recommend him any higher, and he's my immediate recommendation when anyone I know has car issues.

I have been taking my cars to Dearholt for over 10 years now. They are always polite, helpful, and honest. They inspect your car, let you know what the problem is, and what they recommend, but never pressure you to do more than you want to or need to. They are less expensive than the car dealers in town that we have gone to, and much nicer to work with. Last week I took my 2004 Toyota in for an overall inspection. They understood that it has 230,000 miles on it, and that I don't want to put a lot of money into it. They did a thorough inspection, told me their recommendations, I told them what I wanted done, and they completed it the next day. I always go to Dearholt and always recommend them to anyone needing an honest garage.

A few weeks back on Thursday the the 14th I stopped by your shop with my father. My father is local and lives on Unser Blvd. I had just flown into town from Cincinnati Ohio to take my Dad and son camping. We were renting a camper from a nearby resident and were on a time crunch to get to the mountains. We ran into an issue with the trailer hook up on my dads truck. It was close to 4 pm and I knew it was probably going to be a wash to get anyone to look at it that day. We happened to drive by Dearholt AutoCare and ask for assistance. Jim Dearholt did not hesitate to come out to the parking lot and take a look at our truck. He went back inside and to retrieve an electrical tester for the trailer hookup. He also provided some helpful information to help get us on the road faster. On top of all of this he also would not take any type of payment for his assistance. We ended up getting on the road shortly there after and had an excellent weekend camping. I wanted to Thank Mr. Dearholt for helping us on such short notice and for being an overall nice person. I could see that day that he has a successful business because his kindness and compassion to help his customers was felt that day.

I first stopped in to ask a question one day. I was satisfied with the answer and said I would be back. Well, it was quite a while but I did return, this time for a repair. I listed some problems for them to check and they did call me back. Surprised to find out that one problem I listed was not necessary . Another one they couldn’t find a problem. Now I’ve been to some shady places that would have sold me a bucket of muffler bearings, but not the case here. And they didn’t charge me for something they didn’t fix . The real problem was identified, I was told the parts and labor charges and told them to go ahead. Repairs were done, I picked up my car and am very satisfied. My car has found its favorite repair shop. I will be back soon!
